Descent from Heaven Day

Descent from Heaven Day is one of the four major holy days in the Tibetan Buddhist calendar. It commemorates the Buddha’s return to the earth after teaching his mother in the heavenly realms.

This Sunday, November 5, join Venerable Khenpo Kalsang Gyaltsen and the sangha of Sakya Phuntsok Ling for all or part of the day’s program:

10:30 AM – Sixteen Arhat Ritual
12:00 PM – Potluck vegetarian lunch
1:00 PM – Candle lighting and water offerings
All of the above are on-site only at 608 Ray Drive.
