Chandrakirti (circa seventh century) was an Indian scholar of the Madhyamaka or Middle Way school. He is the author of Entering the Middle Way, a treatise that explains the ten stages (Skt. bhumis) of a noble bodhisattva and the level of a fully awakened buddha, with particular focus on explaining the view of emptiness (Skt. shunyata) according to Nagarjuna’s tradition and refuting other philosophical views. We are delighted that Khenpo will begin teachings on this text on January 21.
