This weekend practice intensive is a chance to refresh our outlook on difficult relationships by focusing on loving kindness and compassion. We will study videos of His Holiness the Sakya Trichen’s teachings on the Avalokiteshvara Infinite Compassion meditation practice and the Eight Verses for Training the Mind. Seven Points of Mind Training Study Group – Online

We will study the famous Seven Points of Mind Training teaching, using video and audio teachings and written commentaries by various renowned Tibetan lineage masters, striving together to apply it to our minds, with the aspiration to awaken sincere relative and ultimate enlightenment thought. The eight online study sessions, will be supplemented by contemplation assignments, small-group discussion sessions, and an in-person weekend retreat at the end of the course. This weekend practice intensive is an opportunity to focus on the key on-session and off- session meditations presented in the Seven Points of Mind Training course, Friday will focus on sending and taking meditation; Saturday will focus on calm abiding meditation, and Sunday on insight meditation.
